What I did / am currently doing for HEXTE:
Lots of pre-launch testing and calibration of HEXTE at Goddard Space Flight Center and Kennedy Space Center.
Analyzing data from our trip to the X-ray ring at the National Synchrotron Light Source at Brookhaven National Lab.
Here is the abstract from a five minute talk I gave at the American Astronomical Society's January 1996 meeting in San Antonio.
Modeling on-orbit HEXTE instrument background due to such things as fluorescence and activation from cosmic rays and trapped particles.
Working on the HEXTE instrument response matrix.
Analyzing the HEXTE boresight response.
Monitoring HEXTE's health on-orbit.
