and I spend all of our time with "Da Boys". Vacations, such as
they
are, are all about taking these guys somewhere. We never thought
we'd be "dog people", but there you have it :) They are pretty
much the center of our lives as you can see from this web page.
This
is Sammy the Sambo Bear! He's a goofy old mutt and
everybody loves him; he loves everybody right back and is pretty sure
that everyone was put on this earth to pet the Sam. At 17 years
old, he is our
miracle dog! He has had health problems but has soldiered
through. He can't do the hills anymore but loves being outdoors
as much as he can.
This is Scotty, and he's smarter than my sister-in-law.
After years of trying to figure things out, he has become quite
the social animal. He never lets us forget when it's time for
dinner. At nearly 12 and a half years old he still likes to think of
himself as a hunter. He still can do a full on "Coyote
Pounce"(tm), leaping completely into the air and attempting to come
down on those lizards with all four feet. Luckily, he never
catches anything or we would have to stop him.
